WHY ME
I studied in the wonderful city of Leeds and my marketing degree led me straight into a local independent digital marketing agency. That’s where I really got to grips with SEO just as it was starting to emerge. I learned, experimented, and grew quickly — eventually leading the earned media team and helping shape SEO and PR strategies that drove market leading results.
After five years, I moved to a large global marketing agency, where I spent the next decade delivering SEO and digital strategies for a range of well-known household brands across fashion and retail.
What I’ve always loved most are the little, informal chats — over a cuppa, a quick coffee, or just a friendly conversation helping people figure out how to grow their business and get seen locally. Those chats made me realise what I’m really passionate about: helping small, local, independent businesses make marketing work for them.
I still enjoy the fast-paced agency environment, so alongside my current role I now consult part-time, supporting small and independent businesses with practical marketing strategy and coaching.
And that’s where I am today. I’m now beginning an exciting new chapter, working with businesses whose owners wear many hats and often aren’t sure where to start with marketing. My goal is to help them cut through the noise, create a clear strategy, and take practical steps that genuinely make a difference — without the stress, jargon, or overwhelm.
